  My experience with Karthikeyan was horrible from the very start. The pre-op vist in his office had 2 other patients with the exact appointment time as mine , he stacked 3 people in 1 time slot, while waiting in his office with other frustrated patients we discussed are appointment times that's how I found out there were 2 other people with the same time as mine, I waited an hour to have a 5 minute discussion with this doctor, he didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, wasted my money and my insurance companies money, he stole from me and my insurance company. Next was the actual procedure. It went well, very little discomfort, 2 polyps were removed both ended up being benign. My insurance covered the procedure 100%. Karthikeyan said that I was healthy but because he found 2 polyps he wanted to do the procedure again in 6 months. I didn't want to do that because preparing for a colonoscopy is painful but he is the doctor so I put my trust in him and had another colonoscopy in 6 months. Everything went well again except this time I was getting billed for the colonoscopy. I called my insurance company and asked why it wasn't covered, they told me that Karthikeyan billed them incorrectly. He billed them as if I had cancer and he was going back in to check it. My insurance company told me this wasn't good for me because my record now shows me to having a pre existing condition so no longer will my colonoscopy be 100% covered. I was so mad that the doctor committed slander , I didn't pay the bill, I wrote him and Lakeside several times with no reply back and he never corrected the mistake with my insurance company. Soon Lakeside had a collection agency harassing me for the money, Karthikeyan shared my health records with the collection agency which is a violation of HIPA law . I contacted the attorney generals office, sent them copies of all my letters to Karthikeyan and Lakeside. Since then I haven't heard from the collectors, I never received a response from Karthikeyan or Lakeside they just ignored my letters to them. Now Im stuck with my insurance company having my records show a pre existing condition and a bad mark on my credit rating. After this experience I believe Karthikeyan does unnecessary procedures to get more money from his patients and there insurance companies. Because of him I don't put any trust in any doctors.
